They're finished with the framing and are starting on the roof. Most of the windows are also in! It's starting to look like a house now!Felt bad because we had them remove the "Christmas tree" in the yard. It was growing so close to the house, not just cutting off views from windows, but also would continue to get bigger and become a problem. Megan and I watched them take the tree down. She yelled "Oh no, not my Christmas tree!" It would have sold for a premium in California -- noble fir. However, around here I am guessing they are fairly reasonable, since this is where they are shipped from. But still, felt kind of guilty.
