It's 8:30pm in China and what a day! We went shopping this morning at Grandview Mall which will be one of the largest malls in the world when they complete the renovation/expansion. They even had an ice skating rink where Megan took a lesson!
Then this afternoon at 2:30pm we headed over to the China Adoption Agency office to get our babies. Everyone waited in a room and the babies were brought to the families one by one. It was such an emotional time for all. Being one of the veterans, the old memories came flooding back to 5 years ago when we got Megan.
I don't know the exact time, but sometime around 3:30pm we received baby Erin. She reminded us so much of Megan...very quiet, just observing everything around her. She has the chubbiest thighs I have ever seen (aside from my own!)!!!
We had dinner in the Chinese restaurant in the hotel. All the families look so comfortable with their children. It's such an amazing thing.
Well, we're all pretty tired and still adjusting to the time change so it'll be an early night for us!

i have tears in my eyes cyd!!! i am sooo happy for your family!!! i am also laughing as you will have to "taste" baby erin's formula when you are going to get on the plane to come home!!! : ) have fun in china and take lots of pictures too!!!
Congrats! Erin is beautiful- and BIG! She is a very lucky girl with so much awaiting her in Oregon.
