Blueberry Picking

Last weekend we went blueberry picking in Canby. Searched the internet and selected Morningshade Farm. When we drove out there we realized it was the same place we went to the first summer we moved here! We remember the house and the fields, and especially the dog! And there she was, ready to play fetch! What a beautiful, sweet dog! Makes me want to get one even more.
My parents are finally healthy so they joined us. It's a good thing the blueberry bushes are large so they don't have to bend over to pick! My dad's back is finally healed so he isn't in constant pain like before. Summer has been good.

Megan enjoyed picking blueberries again.

Notice how focused Erin is! She carefully picked the blueberries and ate most of what she picked!

We picked 17.5 pounds of blueberries for a total cost of $21.00! Yup, that's $1.20 a pound!
We missed strawberry and cherry picking but luckily our neighbors gave us a bucket full of cherries! We're looking forward to apple picking in a few months. Apples cost about 40 cents a pound when you pick it yourself!
