The Lazy Days of Summer

As we close the last weekend of summer, there are so many wonderful memories to reflect upon...

Apple picking with friends

I'm waiting to get the photos from Brian's graduation and many others that are on Darrall's camera! So many more memories....visiting friends back in California; hosting a 4th of July neighborhood party; driving up to Washington to check out lake houses; and just the many truly lazy days of summer.
It's been a good year of transition and we are excited about the year to come. With Megan starting 1st grade and Erin starting preschool; Brian heading to college at University of Washington; my parents making the big move to Oregon; the holidays with the whole family together; and continuing to enjoy the new friendships we've made.
Life in Oregon has really been a blessing. Darrall is actually enjoying free time and doing things other than just working and thinking about work. He's started biking with friends. He even rode in the Portland Bridge Pedal which takes them over several bridges in the Portland area. We're getting into camping and sharing that with other families.
We miss all of our friends back in California and hope you will come and visit and enjoy the beauty of Oregon that we've grown to love.
