Now We're Talking!

Just when we thought that little bit of snow we got last week was a big deal, today we woke up to some REAL snow. Well, at least for Portland area! For those commuting, what a nightmare, but for me and the kids, what a wonderful time we are having! It's a snow day and schools are closed!

Megan told one of the girls that this was the first time she's seen "deep" snow. We got about 4 inches, enough to make some serious snow angels. The snow is very dry so we haven't been able to make a big snowman yet.

While Erin took her nap, we ran outside to play with the neighborhood kids. They had boogie boards and ski boards so the girls had fun sliding down to hill. (No pictures of me, but I did go down the hill a few times! And it was a blast -- felt like a kid again!)

Megan got to hang out with her friends and have hot chocolate. I'm glad she's enjoying these new experiences in her new home.
